Daily Scenario

So, you wake up one morning next to your beautiful, lovely girlfriend. You and her have been together for 8 years. You are deeply in love with each other. You know everything about her and you cherish every little, tiny thing down to the smallest detail. You awake and rub the sleep from your eyes. Today is a special day. Today is the day that you have secretly been planning to propose to the love of your life. You have been saving for months and months for a ring, you have reserved the best seat at her favorite restaurant and planned every tiny thing in her best interest. You have been awaiting this day for a very long time and you are very eager to surprise her with your question of her hand in marriage. This restaurant is her favorite, because it is the first place that you and her went on your first date, exactly 8 years ago to this day. You tell her that you have a big surprise for her this evening and she tells you that she also has big news for you as well. You begin to get excited. You leave the house and go to wrap up all the tiny details. After all, you want this to be perfect and you want her to be surprised. You go get the ring, arrange for her favorite kind of chocolate cake to be delivered to the restaurant and everything else. You go to pick up your lovely and you set out for the restaurant, the place of your first date, 8 years ago. Dinner goes well and it is just about time for the chocolate cake to be delivered to the table when lovely tells you her big surprise. Cake is delivered to the table by generic good looking guy and love of your life tells you that she has been cheating on you with generic good looking guy. So, the question is... Do you eat the cake? More importantly, who pays for the dinner?
