Rest In Peace, Macho King

So, a lot of Macho Man fans are coming out of the woodwork today to mourn the death of the absolute greatest wrestler of ALL time. Randy "The Macho Man" Savage AKA Randy Poffo.
He was the most electrifying performer of all time and the greatest, most awe inspiring wrestler that the world of wrestling has ever seen. The dude's style was impeccable and impossible to duplicate. Here's to you, Macho King.
I've posted most of these videos before, but today I do so not out of inspiration, but out of reflection and homage to the late great.
Interview with Mean Gene. Lots of cocaine involved.
Interview with Mean Gene. Macho calls out MG on having a crooked mustache. Dude was hard.
The most inspirational video of all... Th Macho Man's demo to the WWF. Song is hard as nails, video even harder. He's goes straight into Jerry The King Loller's backyard and owns that little bitch.
Fuck Ricky The Steamboat. Macho gave the best match promos.
Hope you enjoyed a brief look at the career of one of my icons.

Ohhhhh Yeah!

FRESHJESS.COM

Most of the ignorant gibberish I post on this blog is pretty much just that... ignorant gibberish. But I finally came across something with actual substance.
That substance comes in the form of my newly acquired friend, Jess Estrada and he blog, FRESHJESS.COM. Very well worded with good insight and a very creative out look on life. We Do yourself a favor and learn a little... after all, it is the new year!

I am Slim and I am not locked out of my house anymore.

ILL INTENT Makes The Top 25 List For Releases In 2010 on Hardtimes.Ca

Here's the list!

Wed, 12/29/2010 - 12:20 — Just Jarrod
For me this year flew by and with it came a ton of releases. It seems the older I get the more bands there are and it becomes ever more impossible to keep up with it all. I can never narrow a favorite list to only 10 picks, this one includes 25 and I had to take a few off to keep it that way. There is a good mix of my musical preferrences of bands and artists that flooded my airwaves all year long. Many of the picks listed here are albums I reviewed on Hardtimes as well as some not so heavy records as my taste in music includes hillbilly/old country/roots music.

1. All Out War “Into the Killing Fields”
2. All Pigs Must Die “S/T”
3. Alpha & Omega “Life Swallower”
4. Arson Anthem “Insecurity Noteriety”
5. Bitter End “Guilty As Charged”
6. Born Low “Reincarnage”
7. Johnny Cash “Aint No Grave”
8. Coliseum “House With A Curse”
9. Confines “Withdrawn”
10. Brett Detar “Bird in the Tangle”
11. Frontier(s) “There Will Be No Miracles Here”
12. Hank III “Rebel Within”
13. High on Fire “Snakes for the Divine”
14. Humanerror “Beyond the Wasteland”
15. Ill Intent “All Lions”
16. Living Sacrifice “The Infinite Order”
17. The Legendary Shack Shakers “Agridustrial”
18. Messengers “Anthems”
19. Murder By Death “Good Morning Magpie”
20. Norma Jean “Meridional”
21. Sick of it All “Based on a True Story”
22. The Sword “Warp Riders”
23. Terror “Keepers of the Faith”
24. Venia “I’ve Lost All Faith in Myself”
25. Volbeat “Beyond Heaven/Above Hell”

I'm pretty excited!

Getting Amped Up For The Superbowl

Since I was born in Massachusetts, I've always loved this team. I remember year after year of 2-14 seasons. I remember crying in 1986 when the 15-1 Bears beat Tony Eason and the Pats in the Superbowl. Now, I've got nothing to be bummed about. Pats are going to destroy the Dolphins this Sunday, dominate the entire post season and claim the Superbowl trophy. Quote me on that.
